Bill & Kat (and Ruxin…..)

Bill & Kat (and Ruxin…..) | Harborside Banquets

Some couples are just special and Bill & Kat certainly fit into that category.  Their sweet relationship, love for each other, and laid-back style made them a joy to work with from the first phone call right through their special day.  The Harborside wishes them a lifetime of love and joy, along with their puppy Ruxin the Chocolate Lab!

Ashley & Richard – Celebrating Beach Style!

Ashley & Richard – Celebr … | Harborside Banquets

After Ashley’s Aunt Sheryl was married at the Harborside just a little over a year ago, she decided to follow the new family tradition and tie the knot here as well.  We are so glad they did, cause it gave us another chance to work with this wonderful family.  Ashley & Richard are such a fun couple, they wanted everything “beach casual” so Harborside’s chef’s put out a BBQ menu that everyone said was, “the best wedding food ever!”  We agree.

Thanks to all of their wonderful vendors:

Adam & Tiffany – January 2014

Adam & Tiffany – January 2014 | Harborside Banquets

After meeting in law school, Adam and Tiffany had their first date at a coffee shop.  They have been together ever since.  Adam surprised Tiffany for their engagement last Mother’s Day when she flew out to visit her folks in the Midwest at their beautiful lakefront home.  Adam coordinated with her parents and secretly flew out on her last day there.  He arrived just as the sun was setting over the water.  Her mom sent her to the backyard to get something and there was Adam waiting.  It took her five minutes to even realize she had said yes!

The reception was held at the Harborside Ballroom on a beautiful Newport Beach winter evening in January.  Rich Prugh Photography’s pictures speak for themselves.

Another Special Couple…Brendan & Jana’ee

Another Special Couple…Brendan … | Harborside Banquets

From the moment we met Jana’ee and Brendan we knew their day would be spectacular.  Christine Bentley Photography captured every element to perfection; from the I Do’s at Our Lady Queen of Angels church in Newport Beach to the Grand Exit from 400 Main Street (below!).  Luscious pink and cream florals by Flowers, Etc., the exquisite Merengue Bakery cake, and Jordan Music Entertainment added to the magical air of the evening.  Heather Hoesch of LVL Events was on hand and was her usual amazing self, seeing to every last detail.  A special couple and a special event we will long remember!
